Sport Bowling Crystal Pin
« on: September 08, 2008, 05:48:47 PM »
It is beautiful!  One of my teammates from the summer league shot 800+ (827 I believe).  Tonight he was awarded his Crystal Pin award.  Not only is it beautiful, but it is large and heavy.

While many complain about USBC awards, this is one anyone would be proud to receive and display prominently.

If you throw an 800 on a sanctioned sport league, I don't care where you bowl, it is a great, great accomplishment.  Great bowling by your teammate ThongPrincess.

Do you know by chance his 3 games?

He shot 290 - 257 - 280/827 and his 4th game was 213 for 1040.  Here is a link to our Local Association with a little blurb about it. Scroll down to Bill Machin.
