Bowling can be puzzling?
« on: January 05, 2016, 01:02:13 PM »
I have been bowling for about 45 years. Never have I had a more difficult season. It has just been a very inconsistent season. More average scores (like two o's and some 220's -occasional higher) but nothing big. I am not going to blame it on anything, except I need more practice. Bottom line is I haven't been able to carry. Ring/flat 10, blower 7 - etc. Then out of the blue last Sunday, I shoot 300, and I threw every ball good, no pull shots, no high shots. So now I am like, hmm - what to expect for the rest of the 2nd half? At least I know I am capable, if the bowling god's allow it? Yep bowling can be puzzling!  :o
There's two kinds of music METAL and bullshit!

Congratulations on your 300.

Puzzling and frustrating for me, I agree.

I have an sling shot and wants to get something to go along with it but don't know what to buy because I changed the surface to 800 and I've used on fresh and hooking and had good results on both it acts like the old sapphire zone pearl now it's frustrating me because I don't want to buy something that acts similar.

What I'm trying to say I purchase 3 balls the last few months an brute, tropical breeze hybrid joy ride, and only have one to two boards difference between them sold them all because I had change in span and pitches for my arthrist and don't want to repeat the same mistake.

I don't know your situation, but for me, I really only start to see the real differences in balls when I am bowling on sport patterns.  For me, THS makes too many balls look similar.  Usually, the balls that don't impress me on my THS look really good on tournament or sport patterns.

MI 2 AZ I was thinking on the same line as you are have had that happen in the past with other balls.
