Hammer Tool Chest.....
« on: October 05, 2003, 01:10:12 PM »
I saw this in a magazine right after it came out.  I was shocked to see that it costs 457.00 bucks.  I certainly wouldn't pay that much for a 3 ball bag.  I will say that it is the coolest bag I have ever seen and it would definitely make a statement it league.

In case some of you don't know what I am talking about here is a link.....

Machining all that aluminum and casting the special foam internal bed for 3 balls is also an expense, but $457 allows for a pretty good profit margin for all the middlemen involved. Steel would have been cheaper and less likely to get dented in a car trunk or a truck's bed.

Blockbusterbowling.com has it for $289. I'm not sure if that's with or without shipping, but either way it's still a much better deal. I don't see it listed at buddiesproshop.com yet, but I'm sure they'll be around the same price as Blockbuster once they get it. I wish I had money to throw away on something like that. It's the coolest bag I've ever seen!

Bowling is without a doubt the dumbest, most pointless, most idiotic excuse for a game that has ever been invented. So, what time are we bowling tomorrow?

I like the look of it but for $450(There's a shop where I live that is charging $500) you can have 2 4-ball rollers.  I see only die hards that want to look important will pick them up or PBA members.  The only gripe I have with it is that the wheels are so tiny.  They are a little bigger than a silver dollar.  What's up with that?

Looks great just FedEx your equipment in it to your hotel for High Roller's or National's.  Makes packing probably easier.
