Ok well I like Track Clean And Dull, and you know it really does clean and work great and all that -

but

For about 1/4 the price you can go to Wal-Mart or the grocery store and buy a spray bottle of Easy Off BAM!/Simple Green/etc that contains 3 times as much cleaner and works just as good.

On one hand CND = $12.00/8oz container

On the other hand Regular Kitchen Grease Cutter Type Cleaner = $3.00/36oz container

Not only that - but you can clean other stuff besides bowling balls with it.

but those are not specificaly made for bowling balls and may be the reason some people experience ball death over a shorter period of time. Besides, they DO NOT clean just as good as CND. CND deep cleans and draws oil out of the cover as well as clean the outside. No other cleaner on the market does that.

I have not tried the "easy off bam", but I tried all the others you mentioned along with several more when I first started bowling. At that time I thought they were cleaning good to, but then I tried CND and threw everything else away. I could clean them with greased lighting and follow that up with simple green and then use acetone. Then apply CND and the rag would be dirty after using the CND. It took off anything that was left behind from the others and drew oil from the cover as well. Thats all the proof I needed and have not bought a different cleaner since.

Clean n Dull and Clean n Tacky.

They are both great for quick cleaning and deep cleaning. IF you prefer to have a spray cleaner for quick cleaning at the lanes try Track's Power Wash!

These cleaners are second to none!!!!

Legends but it horribly strong smelling. Tried many ,that one seems to work across all surfaces well.

Smells like Carbon Tetrachloride and a dash of Acetone.
Is really quick drying like Carbon Tet.
I wonder what the undisclosed ingredient is, that is stated on the label?

Ebonite's energizer cleaner for everyday cleaning.  I usually wipe off after every shot with a damp cloth with energizer cleaner.  Then hook-it or renew-it about once a month.  Wish we had CnD over here.

And by the way.. most of my balls lost carry at around 6 years /approx 5000+.  I just can't believe the amount of balls being percieved to have "died" at this forum.

Since all the american made stuff is much more expensive over here in Europe, I use a sort of "homemade" cleaner...

3 parts Windscreen Washer Fluid (includes alcohol)..  2 parts water and a couple of drops of Yes (Fairy) washing up liquid..

A guy in my bowling team has used this for a long time and hasn't had any problems with dying balls etc...
