Excellent breakdown, Banta. He's exactly right. DW, it's probably just because the companies keep coming out with better and better equipment. The better balls will be seen more. There aren't too many people on staff with companies anymore, so the free agents will use whatever works. If Haugen would have been on the show today he'd have used a Black Raspberry and a Raging Inferno, those two gave him the best look all week. Rick Steelsmith would have used a Power Blitz and a Bruiser. A couple of those are pretty old balls, but a couple are brand new. Lol, and yeah, when are you going to see AMF stuff on tv? I can't stand AMF, but oh well. And if you'll notice, there's been a lot of diversity in the first few weeks. Storm, Brunswick, Hammer, Ebonite, AMF, Dynothane . . Look to see Lane 1, and Roto-Grip, namely, on the show soon. Delutz will be there eventually, and so will Haugen. You just don't dominate two different patterns on two different surfaces in back to back weeks without having the skills to punch you through when you get a couple breaks. The only two companies I'm not sure of are Columbia and Track. Steve Wilson was using Columbia this week and made it to the round of 16. That was the highest finish for either company this week, I believe.
