I use the Anomaly with great success on fresh house shots with stripped back ends.I go up the back of the ball straight up the boards anywhere from 2 to 6.This generally keeps me right of everyone else and in fresh oil.The ball retains a lot of energy so you should see a big move when it hits the dry area and solid impact at the deck.

I didn't have a lot of success with the cover polished.The ball reacts best for me with a light scuff using the Burgandy scotchbrite.

This ball does not do well on dry lanes.It will lose it's energy at the mids and roll out long before the deck.Your looking for medium to heavy head oil and squeeky clean back ends to bring out the best in the Anomaly.The cover is very durable and will perform well(over 100 games so far with mine)for a long time.
