Title: Training aids....

Have any of you ever used a training aid for bowling? If so, what kind(s) and did they work for you?

http://www.eileensbowlingbuddy.com

Just started using their stuff.  They are pricey but their stuff is made of this cool silicon material that is heavy stout and durable (only complaint is it collects dirt like crazy but can rinse off with water no problem).  Got the swing trainer (wish got power trainer instead but oh well) and axis trainer already with release trainer and feel trainer on the way.  At least for me more consistency in the swing and release is where I need some work as my foot work is good.  Seems to be helping but early days.

My son is doing drop in clinics ever Tuesday. They have at least some of the Eileen's stuff.

So far, he's used the rev/motion trainer and the power trainer. He has really liked both of them.

I think this coming Tuesday I'm going to see if they have the release trainer and the feel trainer and have him try those out.

I have Eileen's swing trainer as well.  The best investment I made was Mark Baker's DVD called The System.  https://www.amazon.com/Mark-Baker-The-System-DVD/dp/B00PBH8ELE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498664534&sr=8-1&keywords=mark+baker+bowling
