I've bought a bunch of balls, but it's
« on: December 28, 2003, 09:55:57 PM »
always been because I have had a hole in my arsenal and I haven't been satisfied with the equipment purchased to fill that hole.  I've been searching for a heavy oil ball for a while, and I've just purchased my 6th attempt to find a ball with a satisfactory reaction.  3 of the previous five, I have sold in short order even though I could throw 7's with them, they we're better suited for the medium to medium/heavy shots, and I have solid equipment for that range already.  The 2 I've kept allowed me to retire my older equipment, but I was still left with the need for the true oil ball, which I believe I may have finally have found.

On the positive side though, I have a good size group of people waiting and wanting to buy anything I decide I don't want, and many of them have the same size span and fingers, so they don't even need to get it redrilled.  Heck, every ball I own, people have outstanding offers on should I decide I want to get rid of one of them.  Most of the time, I end up losing $10 on the deal, but I got to experience the ball.

this was supposed to be a reply to why buy a new thread.  Sorry I screwed up on the posting.
