Trying to complete an aresenal...
« on: June 29, 2003, 06:18:19 AM »
Right now I want to have a 6 ball arsenal by this winter, and I am trying to decide what to get.  Right now I have a spare ball, a columbia300 messenger Ti pearl, and a fuze detonator (2E drilling I believe with an X-hole for more flare).  I am going to pick up a Brunswick groove urethane when I get the money for dry lanes, and I am getting an inferno from the league I am in right now.  So that leaves one spot for a medium oil ball to fit between a columbia300 messenger Ti pearl and the inferno which will probably have a 2L or 3L drilling (from Brunswick's site).  I was thinking possibly a Brunswick monster frenzy, storm x-factor, or Roto-Grip silver streak.  Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
MrH

I have the THING .. for me it works best with a LOT OF OIL .. the condition I understand you are looking for is MEDIUM .. for that I get good results with the STORM CHARGE.

Thanks to everyone for their input.  It has helped me a lot.  Right now, I am still thinking maybe an X-factor but with a very weak drilling.  Put the pin 5 and 3/4" away from PAP, with the pin above the bridge. Put the RAD to the right of my thumb hole (I am left handed) with the CG a little right of center grip.  This will make it go long but won't hook too much.  Not quite sure if I still want to spend that kind of money for it, so I am going to go talk to the guy at the pro shop though, and if he thinks the x-factor will be too much hook, I'll ask about the charge, freak-out and eraser particle pearl.  Thanks again.
