just bought some SST8's whats the general word on these?

Like the title says, i just bought some,,, like 5mins ago online... mainly cuz, my old SST6's were getting worn out, and plus when i did order them a few yrs ago, i went 1/2 size bigger and its a lil uncomfy having to wear two pairs of socks just to get them to keep from falling off my feel ( size10 )

I mean if it wasnt for the feeling/comfort of the sst6's i probably wouldnt get them, but since my parents asked me what i wanted for Xmas,  I was like welll i can use some new bowling shoes lol.....  yes i still get Christmas gifts at age 31 lol.......

i did get the wide width since i do have wide feet,   but just looking for honest reviews from people who have the SST8's and how they compare to older SST5's n 6's n 7's.

Had a pair of the kangaroo-leather SST6's which were also wider and bought a new pair of SST8's for the same reason you did - my 6's wore out.

The 6's were slightly more comfortable, but I like the added toe guard on the non-slide foot of the 8's. I tried a pair of Linds Extra's and they were nowhere near as comfortable as the 8's, but you can adjust the slide in smaller degrees.
