Turbo 2-n-1/Power Supplies Black tape

Has anyone here have experience with this product? I'm having trouble with my thumb sticking (I've been bowling over 40 games/week, thumb is growihng callusus again) and was wondering if this product works well or should I just get some easy-slide? Suggstions are appreciated.

If you use a powder like easy slide, use in it's place instead, soap stone. It can be bought at most hardware stores. It is very cheap. Use a wood file instead of a pocket knife to powderize it. Just rub it back and forth on the wood file. I took a 100 count asprin bottle and powderized 3 sticks of soap stone in 10 minutes which was enough to fill the asprin bottle. With easy slide, you have to keep powdering your thumb and is slick the first ball or so then it starts getting sticky and you have to powder your hole/thumb again and again and...... Easy slide also makes inconsistant and uneven slickness. With the soap stone, coat the inside of thumb hole good, then your thumb, then work thumb in and out of thumb hole and you are then set for several frames, if not the whole game.

WOW, I haven't heard about using soap stone before, but i'll definitely give it a shot. As for the Black patch tape, my main concern for using it is to "prevent excess built up callusus while providing an ultra smooth release". I was just wondering if anyone used it before and have it work like advertised.

I use the nonflavored Chap Stick on the 'sticky' spot on my thumb.  I can control how much I use, and I can dab it right on the spot where it needs to go, unlike EasySlide which winds up all over the inside of the thumbhole.

the humble one -- Consider trying this.  Oversize your thumb hole (or insert) by 1/16 inch.  Install a 3/16 inch Thumbillow or a Magic Carpet in the back of the hole, and if necessary use a piece of white grip tape in the front.  This combination will give you a consistent release with normal thumb swelling/shrinking.  --  JohnP
