So we were bowling tonight...The team that we beat last year for first place is a bit...I dunno, bitter is the word to describe them.  They're right around average as bowlers, but they're consistent, save for one of them.  High average is ~205, low average is ~180, and they've got 3 guys in the high 190's, low 200's.
Anyhow, one team that we bowl with is REALLY loud.  It's all in good fun for them though.  Anyhow, one guy on this "bitter" team, every time that team gets loud, just makes a mocking face and makes some retarded, mocking noise to go with it.  Every time I see/hear him say it I just mutter under my breath "Don't be bitter".  Mind you, this same guy will get just as loud, but not quite as often, and about different things...
Well, I miss the pocket, have a 3-7 standing, but the headpin comes back and trips the 3 out, so just a 7 pin.  This is the ~6th frame of the last game.  I start my approach, and I hear this "eeeehhhhhh" (from bitter guy) mid backswing.  I "balk", stop my approach, and mutter a few daggoneits under my breath.  try to recollect myself, and breeze right by the 7 pin.

******Now, I KNOW that this is my own fault, concentration should be that to where if a cannon were to off on the next lane it wouldn't deter me.  But it did.***********

That being said, that was my ONLY open frame up to that point in the series (and only one of the night).  Next frame, after consistently hitting hard and carrying all night, I leave a light-ish 5-10.  To me, it's the easiest split on the book - feet 5 board right, strike ball.  I make it with no issue.
******Here's where I might get out of hand??  I let loose with a "Yeah Baby!! Gotta Git It!!"  Those are two things that ol' bitter likes to say.  Mind you he paid no attention, BUT my brother took notice, and kind of pulled me aside.

At what point is "good fun" not "good fun" anymore?  Bitterness?  Making light of bitterness?  I didn't mean to put across any animosity at all, but at the same time, I can see how it would be construed that way.

But hey, I won't complain.  shot 687 on my 22nd birthday
