Been using for years never has happened any ideas how to get out. And yes I have tried the switch a roo.

Is this a new Switch Grip you just got in the last few weeks by chance? If so, and if it went in but will not turn coming back out, then you've got the same problem I posted about... Is that what you are facing?

Luke, if he has it twisted in, Turbo Jack won't help, will it? If it never twisted in, I don't think he'd be trying the Switcheroo. This sounds exactly like what mine did last week. Weirdest thing....

You are absolutely correct though, pressure from swelling is certainly a problem with SwitchGrips. If I remember correctly, that is not a problem with IT, right? One of the reasons I'm thinking of switching.

Run into this a lot with my son’s stuff.

Make sure it’s twisted to the unlock position. Had his sometimes resist making that finally bit of turn. Then it becomes all about pulling it out. Either have to use the hook device they sell or have someone with a better sized thumb pull it out.

Pro shop guy has a thumb slightly bigger than my son. He could get them out for us. Usually ask him to redo that thumb outer or sand it out a touch.  Doesn’t do any good if my son can’t get it out.

Still carry 5 thumbs now. Two drilled same size as normal in case a switch gets stuck or breaks. One each slightly bigger and smaller thumb holes for thumb size changes.

Lost/missed cuts in too many tournaments by not having switch thumbs to start and then later because couldn’t switch the thumb to another ball because it was stuck.

We have had this problem at the shop as the machines at our alley are unkept. 
Small bits of debris get stuck between the drilled hole and the outer sleeve.  By using a box cutter or the scraping tool used by the dentist they can be removed
