Have you noticed any difference between the two? If so what? Your preference and Why?

I have two balls with vise thumb slugs, and two with turbo slugs. The vise slugs seem to stay cooler were as the turbo slugs seem to heat up after some use. I'm thinking of switching my other two other balls to vise as it seems so much easier to release my thumb.

Are all four slugs the same material?  Or could you have two that are urethane and two that are vinyl?  --  JohnP

i can tell a huge difference in the slugs. i love vise slugs they are easier to work with and bevel becuase they seem to be a little softer.

this is oppsosite for insterts (when i used to use them, i dont anymore). turbo inserts were better for me. they were softer and gave me a better feel.
