Two finger no thumb drilled question
« on: June 25, 2021, 02:45:10 PM »
Sorry if this may sound like a dumb question but I’ve got no idea about this.

I know someone who is throwing equipment with only having the fingers drilled. When ordering a ball from a reputable online pro shop, how would one provide information on specs/drilling?  Would it just be based on the pin to pap?

First....you do not have to use their services if you want to use your own pro shop operator.  Secondly, if you know your PAP based on only having finger holes and know what type of layout you want, you could give them that information and tell them to drill according to what you are providing.  If you are not knowledgeable about layouts, then it could be a crap shoot.  You give them your specs (PAP, ball speed, and rev rate) and then tell them what you want the ball to do and hope they give you what you are asking.  But that could be risky depending on where you go.  Main thing is to specify that a thumb is not being used and to map out the layout as a no thumb bowler.
