You need to buy a ball or you already bought one?

Ebonite makes a lot of balls.  If you see another name V2, Savage..., we can help you more.

In order of hook, covers are made of plastic, urethane, (reactive) resin, and particle.  If you are a complete newcomer, plastic or urethane would be the best place to start.  They won't hook as much, but will be much easier to control.  If you've been bowling for a while, an entry level resin ball would be a good choice.
