Which ball company's fans are the most loyal?
« on: May 02, 2004, 10:54:51 PM »
I have read many people post messages on this board that they are partial toward one ball company.  Which company do you think has the most loyal fanatics?  I think it's Storm, it seems to me that people who use lots of Storm equipment are more likely to continue using that brand over the others...what do you think?

There are not that many on this board (Mumzie comes to mind) but I meet many Brunswick loyalists while bowling.  I'd say there are an equal number of Storm loyalists.  Personally I'm a ball \/\/hore -- I'll use anything that makes my scores look good

i don't think that it is a shame to be loyal to one company, i know we are not pro's, but is it a shame that they are loyal to one company??  i have found that bouncing back and forth between companies has made it difficult to be a consistant bowler, since all different companies have different covers, cores, and more.  at least the same companies researchers and developers develop balls to fit their own specific protocol.  all their lines have things in common.  therefore, in my opinion, its easier to choose a ball for conditions by that company.  but thats just MY OPINION.

reloaded, hot wire, barbed wire, flash force...thats all i throw.

all 4 balls cost me about $550 drilled...so i guess i can get about two lane 1 balls drilled for the same price?

its not like they actually make a difference, and i end up with 2 extra balls in my bag.

there are by far more storm fans than any other company.  in new jersey, i would say at least %50 of all the balls thrown are from storm.

i see people i bowl with and they dont care what ball it is or who makes it! they just want it to do somehting and half the time they dont like it then. I am the only on in my saturday league that sticks to one brand and i would have to say in my tuesday league i am one of the minority that sticks to one brand, but my tuesday team of teh 6 bowlers 3 stick to one brand but after that not many. Me i am a Ebonite man since i was 17 and i am 32 now.
