Is 15 better then 16

Ive been throwing 16 for years and everyone now throws 15 Iam the only one on my team throws 16 they tell me to throw 15 now but I keep telling I throw to fast to switch and the pound will make a difference but iam thinking of going to 15 but i dont know what do you think

The reason I throw 15# is for better carry, and with high improvements in coverstock and cores, the 15s hit just as good as 16s. It's really all about what you feel comfortable throwing.

In general,(doesn't apply to every bowler) the straighter one plays and the lower the rev rate, the more loss of carry one sees by dropping in weight from my experience and observations. The higher the rev rate carry remains the same and sometimes one will see an increase in carry %. Just throw whats comfortable and don't worry about what everyone else is doing or saying.
