For anyone interested, this Friday's episode of Undercover Boss on CBS will feature PBA CEO Colie Edison as she works undercover at Bowlero.  Might be a fun episode?

I would hope she traveled to IL where there are like 6 Bowlero’s within a 35 mile radius. Would be nice to see her hit all of them on the show if she did and not just one.

I thought I read that these were recorded early in the spring, before all the shutdowns started happening.

These shows are all heavily produced and the "real" employees that appear on them are extensively interviewed prior to being selected to appear on the show and the employees that appear are straight out of central casting, the great employee that gets rewarded, the hard luck employee given the bonus, etc. And if a new employee suddenly showed up at work and was followed around by a camera crew you wouldn't think something was up? Pass.

I'm not telling you not to watch it, watch it all you want. But pay attention to the end credits where they list a credit for "writer".

According to IMDB the writer credit goes to Stephen Lambert.  Do you really go around saying things like "do tell"?

I worked for AMF for 25 years as a head mechanic and in the good ole days we maintained from the foul to the pit, we followed a pretty darn good pm program and machines were taken care of correctly, and the amount of labor hours was enough to keep the machines decent.
The company changed hands several times and soon it was nothing more than squeezing everything out of the centers and no reinvest or upkeep, this is when most centers became run down and mechanical operations became awful.
then came along bowlmor, I watched my paid holidays go away, no reviews or raises for 5 years, vacation denials because you had no mechanics to cover, heathcare become a joke, no budget for parts, buildings falling apart, I could go on for hours.
I had to make the choice to get out of the bowling business and do what was best for me and my family.
I have never met Colie and maybe things are better now, but the tv show was a 180 to what I witnessed as an employee
