Unique Experiences

We all know that bowling's a unique experience where anything can happen, but lets just go ahead and show some proof, anyway.

I would like to hear some good stories from the masses here at Ball Reviews. It can range from strange leaves/pick-ups, championship experiences, anything that can make for a good story. The story should be your own experience, preferably, but you can also mention something you've witnessed.

I'll kick this off with a couple of my own.

Within the past year, I have been inducted into the sour apple club (pocket 5-7-10), twice. Mind you I haven't been a league regular in 3 years.

I have also accomplished a 260 game the following way: / X / X X X X X X XX- (I doubt my friends will ever let me live that one down)

I was keeping score one night (yes, way back in the day) and this guy on my pair picked off the 7-8-9-10 on his first shot, leaving a 1-2-3-4-5-6 spare. I don't remember if he picked it up, but just leaving it was hard enough.

At one of the BR get-togethers in Winston Salem I left my first ever 5-7-10 .. continued to play and believe it or not left the same pins 3 other times. Never left it again since then. If I wasn't there I wouldn't believe it myself!

Spared a 2-8-10 last night (That makes 5 300's and 3 2-8-10 conversions for my career) So this week ive gone 300, 800 then the 2-8-10 cover, pretty reasonable weeks work i think!!
