Best 4-Ball roller bag
« on: March 18, 2010, 12:54:49 PM »
What is the best 4-ball roller bag in terms of quality and reliability?

I have been looking at the Storm Rolling Thunder and the Rotogrip Bag.

Thanks

I really like the KR 3-4-5 bag.  Easy to pick up and easy to maneuver.

I currently have a bag like that but it doesn't fit in my trunk without taking the top balls out.

I have a Storm Streamline 4 ball for about 2 years now, no problems so far and fits with the wife's dbl bag in the trunk of a 2006 Honda Accord

My AMF bag is about two years old and is made by KR.  Still holding up really well, it looks pretty new.

I have the KR 4 ball roller bag. It has been in constant use for 4 years with zero problems. Bottom bag opens from the front (only sensible method), lots of extra little compartments. Easily separates into two pieces to store in a trunk. Or, in my case, makes it easy for an old man to put the two pieces into the back end of my Jeep. Takes lots of abuse and keeps on working.

Now, if I could only get it to knock down more pins!!

Might be obsolete already, if not check out the Black Track 4 ball bag.  Has lots of space, plenty of room for your shoes without squashing them and the top bag locks in place. Wheels are big and sturdy.

Years ago KR made most of the bags, but I'm not sure if that's still true.  Anyway there are still some differences.  Some of the recent KR's handles don't retract near as far down as some other models making them more difficult to lift and store in the trunk, the Track bags don't have an accessory pocket on the front of the top bag, some have two large wheels vs. three medium wheels, there are differences in materials used...  True, they are more the same than they are different, but there are differences.

Got the Ebonite 4-ball stackable Grand Tour and it rolls smooth with the rubber wheels and the bags detaches very easily. Only downside is that the bag only has two pockets and they're not very deep. Shoe compartment is alittle cramp inside but still a good bag. I have a friend who has the Storm Rolling Thunder and he likes it alot.
