gutter shot ball suggestions?
« on: October 12, 2006, 05:06:01 PM »
Hi. Troller bowlers of this forum. I am a bowler that that plays on the outside angle...outside track area...boards next to gutter...which ever you want to call it lol.

Medium rev rate, medium to low ball speed and oiling conditions are light to medium oil.

I am currently using a Brunswick Red Zone as my primary ball. And I am wondering if there are other options better for this style. Possibly if anyone has personal experience. I figured I'd ask before I get into making a Brunswick ball arsenal.

I love the twig.  When I can play there my best look, bar none, is with an original Lane #1 Silver Buzzsaw with a bit of an exotic drill pattern.  I've heard that the drill pattern is also useful on other balls.  If you can find a Silver, you might try it.  If you want to know the layout message me.  What the layout gives me is a lot of length and a very strong, angular move to the hole.
