Ran across this article on USA TODAYS site this morning and, thought you all might want to read it. Written by Tom Clark titled "TV's been great for bowling, but needs to do more". He has some excellent ideas regarding the content of the telecasts. One I have wanted to hear more about during the telecasts is what ball they are using and, info gathered by the CATS system! Like : "Immediately after the release of each ball thrown, the speed of the ball, board on the lane hit, and rev rate should appear using CATS".
Unfortunately his last column posted date was 3\2002, so I dont know if it's still alive?
Anyway, just thought it was worth a look for some of you here.

PS: I emailed Tom Clark to see if he is still doing this column....
