thats what im saying, there are so many things that COULD happen with the PROPOSALS. see what happens in time and deal with it accordingly.

And if you want to say your piece, either write/call the USBC direct.  Or make sure your local association, whichever members will be attending that forum in Florida where they will be actively discussing and I believe voting on the propositions.  For once, Jeff has a point (I hate myself for saying that ).  20 threads, of largely the same people saying the same thing isn't going to change anything.

Dan: There are a number of posters with limited attention spans on this site. I hadn't counted you and Jeff as part of that group.

Regardless, this is a critical topic and deserves serious discussion. If the USBC threads bother you, just don't pay attention to them.

Steven,...it's not the fact that the issue isn't worth discussing....but you can't keep track of what info is going where because there are 20+ threads on the subject and it gets confusing........see what I mean ?

My point of view ....Not sure I've made up my mind....as long as there is a decent amount of time to grandfather older equipment I think that makes it better.  I think the proposals are a 'little' bit extreme, but I also see where the USBC has to 'start' somewhere as well.

I think they're going to get some resistance at the hearings just like it's getting here.

re: your comment about proposals ....not necessarily true, ...but good point

Sawbones: It might be venting, but it's a start. The venting promotes discussion and involvement by bowlers who would otherwise be oblivious to the proposals and their potential impact.

The general bowling population knows nothing about these proposals, and what is called 'venting' will result in many members contacting the USBC with their opinions, whatever they are.

That can't be bad.

I honestly think the USBC regulations were made just to eliminate the use of the RICO1 drill.  So much for the cure/cheater of all drills that is RICO1.
