USBC 750+ award
« on: May 22, 2008, 07:44:41 AM »
Did any of you get a battery operated analog clock for a 750+ series?  I got mine about a month ago.  I put a battery in it, set it to the correct time and placed it on my night stand.  After it was time to go to sleep, I turned off all the lights and layed down.  It was pretty dark and quiet except this new noise I had never heard before. Tick tock tick tock tick tock.  I was like,
"oh h3ll no".  I moved the clock further away so I could barely hear it until I got somewhat used the the tick tock noise.  I think I got back enough "stuff" to break even with USBC this year.  Let's see, I got a mug, couple of patches, a pin, a writing pin, a clock and an 11 in a row plaque.  Although, if I were to add it all up. I think it would be around $10.

Was the clock an assocation award?  I didn't get one.

I got a couple rings and some other junk.

You know, I'm not sure.  I'll have to look again.  It might have been.

Its got to be a local award because when USBC was created between ABC and WIBC they did away with the WIBC 750 patch.  We have a local patch for 750, but no items.  Sounds cool though.

If our association were to give away an award clock for 750+ it would be a sun dial....
