label leverage & top weight question

How much top weight can a label leverage drill have without needing a balance hole?  Is 4oz. too Much?  Generally, how much would be too little?

3 oz is the max top or bottom weight allowed.

1 oz is the max side or thumb weight allowed.

1 oz is the max positive or negative side weight allowed.

I dont think ive ever saw a bal with a weight hole for a label drilling, is it even possible?

I thought that the idea of a label drill was to put the CG in grip center, so you specifically don't have to put a weight hole??

For symmetric balls, you do not use label for mb position (as the mb is so weak that it won't effect reaction) but for the reason that andy said, you don't like a weighthole.

Thank to all of you for your replies.

Sometimes I don't think things through or I would have realised that the top weight replaces the weight removed by drilling, and that up to 5 oz should not require a balance hole, depending on the depth and diameter of the holes.

I am wondering about the ball reaction with different levels of top weight. and the label leverage drill.  Has anyone done any experimenting with this?
