USBC accomplishment ruling?
« on: June 11, 2008, 12:31:46 AM »
Did  the USBC ever change their ruling on achievements??  Im all for just giving out 1 ring, or doing the PBA style ring so u can add to it.  Im even ok with 1 ring, a plaque for the second 300 or 800 and then just certificates after that.

IMO you should be able to get new rings every year.  If u shoot a 300 & an 800 every year for 30 years, u have 30 of each ring.

I haven’t had a chance to keep up, did they ever reverse their ruling?  Also, if you shot 300 before this ruling, can u still get another ring, or does the ruling go backwards & say that if u have already done it, ur done also??

They have tabled that once in a lifetime decision.

However, when directly asked about awards at the National Convention no direct answer was given.  They immediately put their "lawyer shoes" on and said nothing.

One thing though, the watches for 300 and 800 are discontinued as of Aug 1st 2008.   So if you are fortunate enough to shoot 300 or 800 before August you might want to consider the watch.  It'll be the last time you'll be able to get one.
