Is Flip a bad word?
« on: August 23, 2007, 07:18:28 AM »
Not that it matters much, but why are so many people here hesitant to use the word "flip" or "skid-snap" when describing a balls reaction?  Many of the balls put out today have flippy reactions (T-Road Pearl, Toxic, No Meercy Beatn just to name a few), but I see people all the time describing them as "hard-arcing" balls.  Is a flip reaction so undesirable that people will avoid the word all together when describing a ball?

Let's just call a spade a spade people.
