I got lucky and shot 299 last night. First time I've gotten that close to 300 since I shot 300 in 2008. Does USBC give a 299 or 11 in a row award these days? Noone asked me to fill out a form last night during league and was wondering if I needed to ask someone about it.

They give an 11 in a row crystal award.  Most of the time the league secretary will neter the scores and then print the award form to have you sign the next week.  Being that it's the same award for 11 in a row thye may not even have you sign it and might just submit the award.

Got tired of dealing with the local driller's attitude and poor work and I opened up a little proshop in my garage in June of this year. It's finally starting to pay off. Threw a motion holed yeti all night for 779 ( my highest to date).

I would agree the crystal 11 in a row is very nice.  If by chance you shoot an 800--look into the crystal 800 ball award--IMO the nicest award they have had in quite sometime.
