A 10 pin drop rule on a Adult Child league?

Do a lot adult child leagues have a 10 pin drop rule?

I was reading this leagues rules and a few were odd sounding.

I haven't seen this rule in the P/C leagues I bowl in. It's an interesting concept, though. Not sure how I feel about it.

If its sanctioned, I can see it. Maybe one year, a guy brought his kid in to bowl, started off slow, then killed them, making it much less fun for the kids. I know if I was in a parent child league with my kid, I wouldn't be treating it like regular league. Got to be a little more aware of the little eyes watching you.
