Requirements for Storm amateur staff?
« on: July 22, 2013, 03:37:33 PM »
I could have sworn they had them on the website, pretty cut and dried requirements, but now all the sudden I can't seem to find them.  Help?
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

If you own or work at a high volume bowling retail store, that is usually the best. Storm has little interest in the performance of their staff players on the lanes.

yeah it doesnt matter how good a bowler you are unless your on tour but if not unless you own or manage a pro shop you wont be on staff. a guy in my area is a horrible bowler and he is on storm staff probably like 170 180 avg but manages a pro shop so hes in lol

Every company is a little different.  Working in a pro shop isn't totally essential, i know a few staffers that don't work in a pro shop or bowling center.  That being said, this is an email from a brand on their requirements (not storm)  My suggestion is to have a resume and send it in, Storm renews in November for the following year I believe.  The worst that can happen is they say no.

"We select staff players based on bowling ability, bowling accomplishments, tournament schedule, involvement in a bowling center and/or pro shop, and location. The typical staffer has a 220+ league average, bowls in 2-3 leagues per week and 20+ tournaments per year, and has some involvement in a bowling center or pro shop."

Its based on who you know and if you are affiliated with a pro shop.
