I just read on Bowl.com that starting next year, USBC is putting some new rules in place. Doesn't look good for us:

1. USBC Membership cards will be $45.

2. All balls being used in a sanctioned league, will have to be weighed and be to exact specs, before being put into use.

3. All oil patterns will be at least 50' of oil, and a flatter pattern.

4. No more than two balls can be used during a league night or session.

5. All of will begin on April 1st, 2009~ next April Fool's Day.

Yeah when I read the $45 fee and flat pattern, I was thinking it was going to be one of those things...lol but it was a good one. I had mixed emotions, price sucked but pattern would be really good for those guys who gets luckey on the THS...oh wait...thats me!

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

Man, sign me up. I'm soooo tired of bowling on friction all the time. All we ever get around here is china or no oil. Finally we get a PBA experience league this summer. I don't care if I average 120, it'll just be nice to see the ball hold axis rotation for more than 3 feet.
