USBC would like to censor this column
« on: May 10, 2010, 06:06:39 AM »
This could never appear in the bowl.com forums, and USBC would also have it censored in the pba.com forums ...

I see nothing wrong with the article if the article is posting the truth, which some of it is well known in terms of specific and membership decline.

Don't care to read anything on Bowl.com if they are determining what can and can't be posted.  I would do the same here if all of a sudden someone came in and said that only things meant to show bowling in a positive light could be posted.

jorge is a good one to talk. His opinion is always correct if your opinion differs he is on you like white on rice.

Ignore him, he will go away like the bad rash he is. The only manure in this forum jorge and he reeks.

Oh Mainey, don't get your panties in a bunch. You still all PO'd cause I caught you with your pants down over the "you like to bully the bullies" comment you made? Although that was pretty funny how you tried to make yourself look like the big man with that statement instead of the little girl you really are. I am not sure how much you know of Mr. Herald here, but he is not what he is portraying. He is a bitter old man with an ax to grind and he will take whoever side is against the USBC, including that of an obnoxious bully (like the ones you like to bully) all in the name of furthering his grudge. Pretty soon we will all hear about how he was denied his rightful place in his local HOF, but now he wouldn't accept it even if offered, about 900 times.

Mainzer, grow up missy and stop trying act like some big shot, just makes you look smaller then you already are.

You seem to attack anything I say, and I acknowledge your right to do so.

However, when you indicate that I have been banned from posting in any bowling forum, you are TOTALLY WRONG.

With regard to my column, what SPECIFICALLY do you take issue with -- outside of your quest to "kill the messenger"?

Where did I say I took issue with your column??? I didn't, I take issue with you, your actions, and your self-pitying attitude. As well as your staunch defense of obnoxious jerks like the one on bowl.com you wrote your column about. And I take offense to your anti-semetic writings like those you spewed on bowl.com. You won't last long on here either with people like Mainzer jumping on your bandwagon....might as well go back to bowl.com and post there....since you aren't banned as you claim here. I'll look forward to your posts there, but I won't hold my breath.

Looks like the newspaper site changed their link.

Try This.

Have to agreee with Jorge.  Have witnessed the Mighty Fish act on bowl.com.  Not a pretty sight.  Constant references to censorship and conspiracies.  Nobody took him serious after a while.

So just WHAT, specifically, is not "serious" (or factual) in my column?

did bowl.com and pba.com kick you out so now you have to spew your nonsense and attitude over here?  Beat it.

No one can factually dispute the authenticity of the quotes used in the column (by Messrs. Upson, Hershkovitz, Lichstein and Salisbury). I have full documentation IN WRITING that those quotes are FULLY ACCURATE. And there is nothing factually incorrect, either.

Dear jorge300:

Frankly, I'd prefer to take the side of USBC, but the national organization hasn't provided much reason to do so. And any "grudge" I have against USBC pertains to DOCUMENTED FACTS that prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that ABC and USBC have NOT FOLLOWED AND ENFORCED THEIR OWN RULES in many instances and that, further, they have not accorded due process to accused members (in rerate and suspension cases) in a number of instances.

As for posts regarding my local Hall of Fame, YOU (not I) are the first to mention it in this forum, AND I HAVE NOT MENTIONED IT AT ALL (among nearly 1,800 posts) in the pba.com forum.

As to the bowl.com forum, I stopped posting there as of last Aug. 3, when USBC instituted a policy of "holding" all posts for approval and not allowing anything negative about USBC to be posted in their forums.

When are you losers going to stop whining about the USBC? I'm sick of it. You do realize that the USBC is one of the best national bowling governing bodies on the planet, right? Oh, of course you don't, because you're too busy going bananas over the proposed 5 cent sanction fee hike.

None of you want to pay more for sanctioning, yet all of you want the USBC to shell out awards for every score you shoot on your local Great Wall of China and you expect them to solve every single little issue you clowns have with the game. Maybe if you all could find an extra $10 a year -- you know, in between all the booze and junk food you buy at the bowl and all the cigarettes you waste money on and all the gambling you do and all the other vices that add up to way over $10 a year -- shit could improve. Get a clue.

By far the best thing I have seen on here in a while.  Everything is true.  If you can't see that, you need to re-evaluate life.

You claim I have a "self-pitying" attitude (apparently regarding my posts). So to show everyone what you are attempting to convey (to other posters), please provide EVEN ONE EXAMPLE of a "self-pitying" post of mine in either this forum or among my 1,700+ posts in the pba.com forum.

I'm sure you will continue to belittle me here (or anywhere you can), but I defy you to provide EXAMPLES of what you claim.

Dear The Stroke:

I've already stated that -- despite what you and jorge300 might claim -- I have NEVER been "kicked out" (or even warned) of ANY bowling discussion forum(s), and I have certainly posted on thousands and thousands of occasions.

Dear Harry Ballsagna:

In response to your post ...

* USBC one of the best national bowling governing bodies on the planet? Why then, are they in apparent violation of WTBA (and other worldwide organizations') rules regarding drinking in national championship tournaments?

* I never "went bananas" over any $5 dues hike. I just FACTUALLY stated that delegates to the USBC convention defeated proposed legislation to that effect.

* Obviously, I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't smoke and I haven't consumed an alcoholic beverage in eight years. But frankly, I wouldn't personally object to a $5 or $10 dues hike, EXCEPT for the liklihood that such dues increases would likely exacerbate the membership decline even moreso than we've seen recently.

If speaking the truth is belittling you, then so be it. I don't read the PBA forums, so I wouldn't know what you post there. You know that there were plenty of examples in the old bowl.com forums, yet they are now inaccesible, but yet you still left them off your list cause you know that to be true. Master of the spin is at it again. But at least you are honest enough not to try and back out of the anti-Semetic remarks you made on the old bowl.com forums....or the fact that you posted private messages without asking for permission. It looks like you aren't welcomed here either Mr. Herald, as your lousy reputation proceeds you. Maybe there is another bowling forum out there that you can post on and cry to that will accept you, but I doubt it.

Dear jorge300:

Thanks for your nice comments about me in this forum. At least, you should admit that you have NEVER seen me call any other poster (in any forum) names. Further, I never make insulting or demeaning comments toward any poster (including you) regardless of what you continue to say about me.

Have a good evening.
