USBC youth rule question
« on: July 28, 2009, 07:38:29 PM »
I'll be turning 19 on September 4th, 2009. How many more seasons do I have before I have to go adult? Talking about both winter and summer seasons. Thanks.

I thought the youth age limit was going to be changed this year to a maximum age of 20.  I don't know if the rule copied above is from last years rule book, but I'm pretty sure it will change to 20 in the 2009/2010 rule book.

I have the slide from the Powerpoint presentation in front of me.  It states:

For youth membership in USBC individuals shall not have reached their 20th birthday on or before August 1st of the current bowling season.

The age limitation is waived for those authorized as mentally challenged.

I have severe ADD I wonder if I could get an extension I doubt it but you never know.  In college my tests I get time and a half to take a test cause I get distracted easily but I guess you have to be mentally slow for them to exempt you.
