OK- I should probably know better, but.....

I recently tried out a newly opened Pro Shop. I took a ball in to have the specs copied. The PSO (which I have known for years and trust 110%) looked at me when he took the pitch gauge to the ball and said "You don't have any pitch?"

This shocked me. Last year I had everything re-checked by "one of the best in the industry", and I was told that everything was changed, span, thumb position and pitches. All balls have been bought since have been drilled (or should have) from that ball. So, either another PSO has taken a short cut, or I have zero pitches. I believe it is the first scenario.

How would I go about getting my pitches corrected and how would this effect my hand, roll, tilt, revs, etc?

The first driller could have changed all your forward/reverse and thumb lateral pitches to 0. But you've got to have some lateral finger pitch or the holes would come together close to the top of the holes. He may have been referring only to the f/r and thumb lateral pitches, 0 is not uncommon for those pitches, ask him. -- JohnP
