My current (embarrassing) arsenal.
« on: November 09, 2004, 12:24:49 AM »
Ok folks, I just recently got rid of all my 16 and 14 pound stuff as well as some of my 15's that I just never used.  After looking at what I have left I am embarrassed.  Look at my collection and you'll see why.  I seem to need at least one ball to go between my midrange stuff and my xxxl.  I'm thinking now about a Lane #1 Bullet, but wanted to hear if anyone had any other ideas - I may need to get 2 new tools.  Also interested in suggestions for surface preps or redrilling options to separate what I have.

Here's the list (all are pretty much box surface other than [maybe] the Silver Streak particle).

Roto Grip Assault: Pin over ring finger, CG about 1/2" out
Roto Grip Major Assault: 315 layout
Roto Grip Fuel: Pin 1" under ring finger, CG 1" out.
Silver Streak Particle: Pin over ring finger, CG out 1/2", 600 grit finish.
Roto Grip Rush: Pin over ring finger, cg out 2"
Silve Streak Solid: Pin over ring finger, cg out 1"
Silver Streak Pearl: Pin beside ring finger, 45 degree layout (ie, cg out)
Silver Buzzsaw: Pin between fingers, Cg out (on line with PAP).
Uranium Buzzsaw: Pin above bridge, cg out 1 1/2".
XXXL Buzzsaw: Pin by finger, 4 x 4 layout.

Most of the above have a wt hole.  You'll note the common theme of "Pin over ring finger."  Mostly I have cg out or stacked; I've not found much of any ball with the CG in grip center that I liked.  And, almost everything I have is designed/set up for medium to heavier.  Any suggestions?

It bears a close resemblance to R2D2, with the ball compartments being consealed within the main structure, you just choose the ball from a drop down menu, and it spits out the ball from its loins, similar to laying an egg. But much more refined
It has an additional feature, a built in video camera, to help analize you game in progess, and it will even offer advice on making lane adjustments as the shot changes during the game. A wet bar is being tossed around in a posssible upgrade, dispensing minature Jack Daniels, or your favorite hard drinks. He is currently working on a deal with Pepsi for dispensing softer drinks for the younger generation.

Someone asked how I move 'em around.  I don't.  Why bother taking more than one or two when they're all so much alike?  Now when I had 30 balls (yes, I did) I covered all conditions I'm likely to meet.  Unfortunately all of my stuff for lighter conditions was 16 pounds and I got rid of it.

I dropped from 16 to 15 after my first knee surgery 2 years ago. Seemed to help, took some stress of the wheel but not all of it.
