Using balls of two different weights
« on: March 09, 2010, 02:12:52 PM »
I know it's not recommended (except maybe for your spare ball), but I don't know why.

I'm moving up from 14 to 15.  I get better speed with the extra weight.  But I have 1-2 14lb balls I don't want to get rid of.  Is there a problem using both?

Confirmed. Happened to me when I went to 15 lbs. and had a mixed arsenal. After getting used to 15 lbs., I had a hard time adjusting to the 14 lbs. balls, overthrowing and overpowering them (I put too much effort into my release at that time, though). Not really a problem, but disturbing.
