I didn't know which forum to put this in since it is 4 separate companies so I guess it goes here. I was looking at my complete arsenal now and what I am lacking is a ball with a strong coverstock and a core that doesn't promote flip so I can have a strong but controlled reaction on alot of the sport shots I will be bowling on this upcoming season. I have about 360-380rpms with about 16.5 mph and it seems like I have too much clutter in my arsenal without a ball that is very versatile and even reading. The closest thing I have to that is the Blue Thunderstorm and a Track Magic but the Magic isn't quite strong enough to finish if the backends aren't completely stripped which makes either alot of flat tens or splits due to me giving the ball more hand trying to get it to finish through the deck.
How would the more experience bowlers compare these balls. I know the Crunch and V2 Solid are extremely close. I don't know much about the Hot Wire except it has the Deuce coverstock and I don't know much on the Turbo Diesel either. Let me know users or even if you have another suggestion that I haven't mentioned.

I can only speak for the Turbo Diesel as I have 2 of them now. Check my profile out for specs.
The 105 deg layout on the ball makes it as smooth rolling and controllable. I can't wait to get on some tough low scoring conditions with it.
the coverstock can be changed to reduce the hook. about 10 - 15 boards overall.
I have to throw the other( 60 deg- dull) some more to see it's reaction on different shots.
by placing the CG on the neg side of the ball is the way to go for a control ball. this ball moves in a nice even arc. It will not open up a lane, that' for sure.
In it's polished state, I was squared up the second arrow while my sling blade was going 4th arrow out to 5. in the dull state it rolled heavy and true while my sling slide to far and snapped to hard.
it is a good choice IMO.

Crunch is smoother that the V2. I call it V2 with a more rounded backend.
Even smoother but with good hit is the Monster Smash/r.

Can only speak about the Crunch....
Very smooth ball either box condition or polished up......
Box will read the lane earlier but still a smooth/controlled arc to the pocket...
with a shine......ot it down the lane a good 5-8 feet further....but amazingly for me no big flip.....just the controlled arc....little more pronounced then box condition but still very smooth...
the specs I had on it.......
15lb......3 oz top.....3 in pin......drilled with pin at 2:00......45 degree drill.....
used it both at Nationals and at the Bowlers Journal...(ended up 42nd at the BJ on a brutal condition)
