I was curious if anyone is using the above mentioned combination? I will be trying this out the next days once some old balls are plugged to try out some new pitches etc. Opinions etc. greatly appreciated

Huge improvement for me. The feel is so much better.

I recently switched to the Vacu Oval over the older hard style ovals and the feel is much better. I can't actually comment to how the Vacu lifts would be.

I never used the vacu sleeves, cause they're a waste of money! I just used the standard 31/32" bit, drilled for inserts. I then would switch bits to the 1-1/32" and drilled down about an 1" or so to allow for the finger to expand for the vacuum. All you're doing is going down in grip size about 1-1/2 to 2 sizes smaller and the larger drilled hole at the top allows it to expand. Just my $.02, Bruce

Isn't that what the OP is talking about? Seems to be the same thing.
