Title: VACU Sleeves/hole with Power Lift finger inserts curiosity
Post by: rene- on February 14, 2017, 05:27:57 AM
I was curious if anyone is using the above mentioned combination? I will be trying this out the next days once some old balls are plugged to try out some new pitches etc. Opinions etc. greatly appreciated :)

Huge improvement for me.  The feel is so much better.

I recently switched to the Vacu Oval over the older hard style ovals and the feel is much better. I can't actually comment to how the Vacu lifts would be.

I never used the vacu sleeves, cause they're a waste of money! I just used the standard 31/32" bit, drilled for inserts. I then would switch bits to the 1-1/32" and drilled down about an 1" or so to allow for the finger to expand for the vacuum. All you're doing is going down in grip size about 1-1/2 to 2 sizes smaller and the larger drilled hole at the top allows it to expand. Just my $.02, Bruce

Isn't that what the OP is talking about?  Seems to be the same thing.
