Vaccu are nice if u have problems with swelling . I use them because with different pitch changes and span change i have done to over come pain i now have a little swelling. Grip it self is stanard grip from what ever company u use but Top of the hole is drilled bigger. Bottom backside and top front side are only parts glued in . Gives you nice wiggle room to get into grips.

vaccu grips are a nice invention, I use them and love them, only problem is that the grips tend to stretch out rather quickly, I am changing them evry 10-12 games

Hate to say it.. .I tried them and at first I thought they were great. But the more I bowled with the more lazy my finger became and the more it felt like sticking my fingers in mashed potatoes. I quit them. Now I use a golf golf with not inserts. The golf glove gives me an extra tackiness and absorbs swelling as well as reduce the stress on my skin. I just cut out the thumb. I have no more callouses on my fingers and dont tear the creases in the joints.

I am not sure golf golves are for everyone. I buy the thinnest with the least sewing on the fingers. I usually pay about 10.00 for them at a golf supply store as they have the most choices. And they last me about 6 months (provided I do not loose them... in which case I keep a new glove in the bag at all times.) 1 side benefit is that no one else can throw my stuff and I feel like they are safer as I have had several ball stolen out of my bag.

I have used Vacu Style grips for a number of years.  My hands change some, specially when I'm bowling regularly.  Always feel the same.  Love Vacu Grips.

If you use a 1/2 size smaller than normal that should do the trick. Going 1 1/2-2 full sizes only makes the grip stretch out to start! The idea is to allow to stretch WITH SWELLING NOT when your fingers are normal!

Use "IT" and BOWL UP A STORM!!

Not necessarily.  You want the tight fit, so that you can get the VACU effect from the grips gripping onto you.  Glue the grips all the way around the bottom, it makes a seal, and there is nowhere for the air to go when pushing your fingers in, creating a vacuum.

For me the grips don't wear out any faster from use.  Letting them sit in the ball in heat seems to make the grips expand themselves to the bigger hole and stretch out.  But that may just be me.
