Vacuum grips vs Conventional finger holes?
« on: November 01, 2011, 12:57:54 PM »
I have used ovals, power lifters and vacuum grips. I find the vacuum grips better for me. I was considered maybe trying conventional finer holes?

So are there any benefits of convention to vacuum?

Can i drill a ball convention and if i don't like it just make the holes larger and put grips in later?  (or would it have to be plugged first)

If you find the vaccu-grips better for you, why mess with it?

If you start with the finger holes (no inserts) you can add inserts later, but make sure that your span measurement and bridge are still correct. What about your finger pitches? Will they change by going without inserts? You will only know if you try, I guess. There are no advantages. Whatever feels best to you is likely going to be your best option.
