any regrets this season?
« on: November 27, 2017, 11:33:23 AM »
For me, it is joining more than one league this season. From now on I'll just be involved in a fun family league reducing my ball ownership to a 3 or 4 ball bag. Quality of facilities and services are poor, yet they increase fees/lineage. I don't care anymore about free bowling, or discounted bowling for the entire family of none bowlers - $0.25 a game.

One of the two houses I bowl do a good job with services and such, but the playing conditions in the second shift league is like bowling on carpet. The first shift league it's great, one that I'll be bowling from now on.

Also, I returned to playing golf a month ago and I don't know why I left the game 8 years ago. Bowling and golf are like apples and oranges, but one is much more sweeter. Plus, with California winter season weather, it's perfect time to get my (golf) game ready for next season.

Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

I'm sorry i joined a league this season, the owner has got so cheap he only oils two or three times a week.If you are a senior player there is not enough oil in the heads to get the ball to slide thru, which results in splits after splits.

The owner has the balls to say, learn how to bowl.

I have averaged 200+for 30 years now and he tells me to learn how to bowl.

This is my last season to bowl any where.Just my 2 cents.

Dude, are we bowling in the same house? If not I can echo your statements about what's going on in one house I bowl league in, it's quite frustrating.

But really, the only regret I have is being excited about a draft in the scratch league this year before it happened, while i'm bowling very well, I got drafted to a team with couple of people I really didn't want to bowl with and it really has killed the fun factor of that league to me.

Been tanking my first game in league all season.  Guess not getting into a rhythm during practice enough.
Kind of noob when made this account so take advice with grain of salt.
