As someone who bowls left and right handed, the lanes do react differently on each side. Flipping the image doesn’t show how the opposite side will react, but what it does do is show how the ball transitions for those that don’t have an eye for the motion when it is on the opposite side. A lot of right handers can’t watch a lefty throw a ball and know much more than “that hooked too much†because they aren’t use to reading motion on that side. I assume it is the same for lefties. But flipping the image let’s them see it from that perspective, although the motion will probably be a bit cleaner and sharper if a lefty actually threw the ball.
