Valentino Bowling Product (Resurrection)
« on: January 15, 2009, 01:37:15 AM »
I've read on here and noticed myself that Resurrection leaves a shine on the ball.  I read VBP's response that this is normal.  Does the Resurrection fill the pores?  I think it does and thats one reason for the light shine.  Does it make sense to go over the ball with a Ablaron pad to clean the pores out after using Resurrection?

Thanks,

what about just a hot water bath? then you do not alter the surface.

I noticed that to. I bought Resurrection to keep my Cell dull but it does put a slight shine on it.

If you want straight dull, Clean and Dull is the way to go.

Clean & dull is for cleaning, is does not alter the surface.

Resurrection will bring the ball to 800 grit, which is a somewhat high grit, they say 2000 grit abralon is more around 1000 grit, and when i use a fresh 2000 abralon pad, it will leave a sheen, slightly shiny finish to the ball. I would think that 800 grit would leave a slihgtly less sheen than a 2000 abralon pad.

I don't think it is cloggin the pores, I believe it is just the higher grit leaving the shine. Valentino bowling is a great company, and i don't think they would make a product that would clog your pores.
