What size white tape do you use and where do you put it in your thumbhole?

I use the 3/4" and put it where the pad of my thumb contacts the hole.

How do you know when the thumb is not to tight or to loose?

I use 1 to 4 peice's of 1" white textured tape. Depend's on the day on how much tape I use. Most of the time I only need 1. I usually place it on the pad side of the thumb hole.

It's not too tight when you can release at your will.
It's not too loose when you don't drop it or allow it to fall off your thumb, consciously!!

It's not too loose when you can't knuckle it.
If you can knuckle the thumb hole, it's too loose.
