BowlSheet2 - Great App (Apple - iphone/ipod/ipad)

BowlSheet2.

After many years of searching. I found this app and it does a lot of things that the other apps don't do. I know it has been out for a while, and I think it might have been discussed on this site.

It is pricey, but this app has alot in it.

The only thing I could think of them adding is a History for each bowling ball. Counting the number of games on a ball and have a place in the ball list that when you resurface it the counter goes back to zero again.

Check it out!.

Thanks for that info.  I've been wondering about it, but a bit scared off by the price. Big leap of faith one has to take.  I've been using pinpal for my son's tournaments and leagues. And now the league I'm in.  Seems to provide most of what I need/want/willing to enter while games are ongoing. What additional feature do you get out of this app that you think sets it apart from something like pinpal which is much cheaper.

Not opposed to paying for good app, but utility must be demonstrated. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about pin pal. But what this has:

1. Ability to store bowling ball information, includes ball Layout info and also a notes section.

2. Oil Patterns can be loaded on this app. You can dowload an image of an oil pattern and you can add lines and marks on the image.  Each event you play, you enter the oil pattern.

3. Record what ball you use each throw.

4. Not just tracking score, but, also tracks each first throw.

Target: Foot position, Arrows, Break point

Then you can record what exactly you did. Actual: Foot position, Arrows, Break point.

(This option can be turned on or off)

5. Also there is High, Middle, Low indicator for pocket hits.

6. Theres even a place to record what Sole and Heel (if your shoes have interchangeable soles and heels) you used at an event. Also includes ability record settings on wrist supports or any other device.

7. Events, Locations, has area to place notes in. If something you need to record there is always a note section for you.

8. Allows to do these records for multiple players. I am going to use when watching my kids.

9. Little features: It can calculate Ball Speed. There is a what if score, that basically shows what your score would be if you picked up your spares.

Why is there no good app for Android/Kindle and the like? I understand why the best companies would got to an Apple format, but not even one?

Wow sounds great. Some I might not use but others would provide more functionality than pinpal without being too onerous to enter. The multiplayer thing is my one big beef about pin pal. You have to go in and out to track two players simultaneously. Can be a real hassle. I've taken to doing mine on my iPhone and my son's on my iPad.
