Vertex Spinners Splash Guards

To all of you Vertex Spinner owners, since these spinners don't come with Splash Guards what do you use for a Splash Guard and how did you mount (attach) it?

I use a plastic deep tub.  Forget how mnay gallons, but I measured the width and length of my Vertex and it fits perfect with very litlle slop and doesn't vibrate at all.  After, I use it I pop on the cover and store it away.  Works great.  I can even take it on the road for tournaments.

My basement laundry tub is one of the ones with two separate sides, each with it's own drain.  I just put my Vertex in one side and use it in there.  Afterwards, I just rinse off any polish residue from the sides of the tub.

I imagine that a big plastic storage box would work exactly the same.  I use the laundry tub because it doesn't involve having to create any more space in an already crowded area.

Thanks Shiv. Your input is greatly appreciated. It looks like from the information you all have given me, that when it arrives tomorrow I need to measure it and then go to Home Depot or Lowes and look for a large plastic tub of some kind.

I went to a sheet metal shop and had a shroud made for mine. It is not a vertex. a few rivets and it works like a charm.

I just cut the side out of the box they shipped it to me in.  Will not last forever, but it didn't cost any extra.

A buddy found me a plastic box that works fine. Measures: 27"x15"x15".

Duggre the owner ofVertex recommends the cheap garage sink from Home depot as splash guard.

Frankly I almost don't need one!

Judicious use of water for wet sand, and I rub my polish in first before I spin, or I could have a real mess!

Thanks Lucky. I'll look into that sink thing.
