Fantastic News
« on: June 13, 2004, 01:21:45 PM »
Just received news that our "senior" team member may resume bowling by physician's approval! At 86 years of age, he had a knee replacement done (sliding knee) in late February. Chet Yauchzy was one of the origionators of the NY Satte Fireman's Tournament, and still the Secretary of it! Unfortunately, this was the 1st year in over 50 years he could not bowl in it. But he will be back on the lanes in a few days....Go Chet!

BTW...he called to tell me that good news, and also to say I placed 39th in singles (handicap - no scratch in this tourney - and I only get a few pins )
That was out of over 2000 entries in singles.

24 is not my age, IQ, or bowling average, but my firematic number, at least I think that what it is

Glad to hear that he will be back to bowling.  I hope if/when I get to that age I can still bowl.

39th out of 2000 is pretty good.  Congratulations.
