Vibe Envy XR Buyers, question...
« on: March 13, 2014, 10:42:39 AM »
I'm curious...

How many of you that either have bought or plan on trying to buy the new Vibe Envy XR from bowlersmart.com are buying it to actually drill up and use?  How many of you are purely in it as a way to flip it for a quick profit?

And to those willing to pay double on ebay for one...why?

Come on man, don't question the people willing to pay double(or more) on ebay! You are ruining my profit margin.  ;D ;D

I bought as soon as I got the email. I bought the first one as well. I have no intention of drilling, it's quick way to make a few extra dollars.

And the buyer doesn't even have to have a mullet.  :P

I think it is funny to see more Vibes come out and people paying over $200 for a ball on eBay. I LOVE the Vibe series, but for me I would drill them up to use... just curious how much different are they between the Jet Black Vibe, XR Vibe (blue), and now the Envy XR... maybe a board difference?

I'd drill that baby up.  It seems crappy they are being bought up, just to be sold for profit.  If I miss out on this one, I'll be pretty pissed off!

Not enough profit in it. Just because a few hundred sell quickly doesn't mean there's enough market for their normal run of balls. Besides they really do need a new name for their lower line of balls. I think they've proven that the Vibe name is mostly dead based on the number of Cobalt Vibes for sale on Ebay.

i have the jet black and the blue xr (green on the way...vibe cores roll great for me). the blue and the jet black are 2 completely different animals, but i also drilled them to be compliments of each other. The blue is first out of my bag, and once it starts rolling too early, the jet black comes in and i can move left with it all night and know it's going to corner. (300 with both and 805 with the jet black the 2nd night i used it...its really good when the pattern is open)

Just started using my Blue XR and bought the Envy. With it having the Deadly Aim Hybrid coverstock I will need to figure out where this ball fits in.
